To ensure the longevity of your pottery items, we recommend the following care tips
All of the ceramics are non-toxic and lead free (unless otherwise labeled).
Hand wash only: Avoid using a dishwasher or harsh detergents that may damage the glaze or paint on your ceramic/pottery items. Instead, gently wash them by hand with warm water and a mild soap.
The top rack is recommended when using the dishwasher. Do to the heat element being on the bottom rack in most dishwashers. Which makes the top rack a safer option for your pottery.
Should not be used on dishwater but not limited to overglazes like gold luster (not microwave safe) , mother of pearl, decals and enamel (recommend hand-washing only).
Be aware that some soap harms the Integrity of handmade ceramics over time. We recommended avoiding soaps that contain phosphates, triclosan, sodium laureth sulfate. These chemicals are known to harm glazes and other qualities.
Are ceramic pots durable? Yes under normal use, but will break if dropped on a hard surface or mishandled. Should also avoid thermal shock. Exposing the pieces to extreme temperature changes, such as placing a hot item in a cold fridge or freezer.

Happy accidents are only sold at craft fairs. These are beautiful, unique pieces with their own characters. They didn’t make it to the website because of their nature. Some of these pieces are completely functional, and some of them are not food safe. For these reasons they are not sold in the online store.
A "happy accident" is a term used in crafting to describe a mistake or unexpected outcome that turns out to be a positive addition to the project. For example, a misplaced brush stroke may create a beautiful texture or a spilled drop of paint may create an interesting effect on the canvas.
