Service Description
This class teaches students of all levels to throw on the wheel and also learn retractive and additive techniques from simple textures to relief carving and adding clay to wheel thrown forms. Cost includes one bag of 25 lbs clay, all materials, a shelf, tools. Day of classes: August 30th September 6th September 13th September 20th September 27th October 4th October 11th October 18th

Cancellation Policy
Student Attendance: Attending the full class term is the responsibility of the student. No refunds or credits are issued for missing classes and educators will not schedule any additional instructor or make-up classes. Class Cancellation Policy All cancellation are subject to $60 processing fee. Cancellation 10 or more days prior to the start date: 100% refund or 100% credit applied to future class. Cancellation 3-9 days prior to the start date: 100% credit applied to a future class. Cancellation less than 3 days before a class or workshop starts, or during a class session is NOT eligible for refund or credit. Inclement Weather Conditions: In the event of inclement weather, We will follow the Nashua School District to make that decision whether to cancel class or not. If a class is canceled, Lotus Pottery Studio will make every effort to reschedule the class. Guests: No one other than students are permitted to work in the studio are very limit. Photos: We may occasionally take photos of you working (or your finished piece). If you would NOT like your photo taken, please let us know. Animals: Animals are not permitted in the studio space for the safety of our beloved pets and community members. Maintaining a Clean Studio: Please leave 15 minutes at the end of each lesson for cleaning to allow time for proper clean of your workspace. Make sure to leave the space as clean as you found it at the start of your work period. This includes any equipment used, such as the slab roller, extruder, spray booth (including spray booth filters), wedging tables, wheels, etc. We do our best to maintain a clean studio environment. Some clay dust is bound to happen, but it can be hazardous if it builds up or becomes airborne. Wet sponges are used to keep the dust down and surfaces tidy. Do not sweep, sand, or blow dust indoors. Please do NOT sand your pieces inside—if sanding outside, please wear a mask.
